Here is your Progressive Left checklist

Asking any members on the Progressive Left on this board that disagrees with any of these.

1. Pro-choice (abortion rights)
2. LGBTQ+ rights
3. Transgender rights and gender-affirming care
4. Climate action / reducing fossil fuel use
5. Gun control
6. Universal healthcare
7. Higher taxes on the wealthy
8. Criminal justice reform
9. Racial equity I addressing systemic racism
10. Immigration reform with a pathway to citizenship
11. Labor unions and worker protections
12. Student debt relief
13. Affordable housing initiatives
14. Expanded voting access
15. Paid family and medical leave
16. Universal or subsidized childcare
17. Stronger social safety net programs
18. Diversity, equity, and inclusion (DEI) initiatives
19. Campaign finance reform (reducing money in politics)
20. Increased public education funding
21. Support for Palestinian rights (often accompanied by criticism of Israeli government policy)
22. Reparations for descendants of enslaved people
23. Police reform or reducing police funding in some form
24. Opposition to most military interventions overseas
25. Eliminating or greatly reducing the use of fossil fuels on an accelerated timeline

My point is this. If you are on the Progressive Left and Woke and disagree with any one of these you are ostracized.

I can sit here all day long and bring up a few of the things on this list that my Conservative friends on the Right agree with. No ostracism. Maybe a spirited debate. But nothing approaching the unhinged sometimes violent push back behavior on the Progressive Left.
