And it may not be as high of a percent as some think, some may have a natural immunity etc. But this is the only way, we have seen countries in Europe with strict regulations have “second waves”, the cities and states with the most strict regulations are the highest in Covid deaths.

And we knew this back in April.

Even when there's a vaccine not a lot changes given they're hoping for 50-60% effectiveness.

I think that’s what Trump is talking about when he says we are turning the corner on this virus.

Again, this isn't about solving this "crisis".

This is about govt control and power.

The left wants this to go on as long as possible for those reasons only.

The sooner everyone understands this, the better off you will be.

I’m willing to be careful, but accept the risk of something I have. 99.85% chance to survive.

I mean,....frick......I fly a helicopter.

I don’t toe any party line, just say what I think. Most of the time that will align with what this board think, and some of the time it won’t. I speak my peace

Exactly, there is plenty of dangerous stuff out there that can potentially negatively affect us. You have to just live life. Especially given the data on Covid, if it had a 10% fatality rate, things would be different.

wrong, kemosabe. this virus will continue mutating, and there are numerous treatments far better than Remi, which isn't very effective. Remidisvir got EUA 2 days after application. There are at least 5 products far better produced by small pharma cos but have been under review for several weeks. The FDA is being paid to slow play this while BP makes their profit.

I mean most helicopters are black aren’t they? So I’m assuming both is the correct answer.

Your dismissal misses the point I believe. It will likely keep mutating and long-term immunity is probably not going to happen, but a level of herd immunity is possible at relatively low percentages. Some estimates are as low as 20% to give a level of protection to society that is significant. If we can keep 20% immune to whatever the prevalent mutation is, then we can better protect the vulnerable while still living fairly normal lives. I think we need to rethink just what is "herd immunity" or what level is needed for society to function effectively.

No shite Sherlock. That is why we have been working so hard to get a vaccine. Vaccines work by achieving herd immunity without having to get the disease. They also work faster than natural herd immunity.

The only way to what? Normalcy? We never needed to give that up. Not for this nothing burger of a virus.

It is stupid to be so afraid of a virus that you have to take a test to know if you are sick re not.

200000 dead is a lie. The number is closer to 50000.

I will take this over the flu any day. When i have the lu i feel like i am going to die. When I had the china virus i felt guilty for calling in sick.
