I’m seeing the same people crying on this board about Trump threatening to bomb Iran into oblivion for no reason at all…..and are now bitching about Trump chickening out and that now Iran is going to be super powerful.

Just help me make it make sense. I just don’t see how both can be true at the same time but I’m willing to listen.

I figured I would extend an olive branch and hope to understand their line of thought.

It’s TDS. You know this. They jump from one thing to the next. Weak, pathetic, useful idiots.

Logically, I see no issue with that line of thinking.

They didn’t want us to bomb the infrastructure.

They didn’t want us to bomb anything bc see look, now we have to bitch out AND Iran is more powerful bc we started this whole thing.

That works, logically. No?

Except for the whole “massive amount of leadership, personnel, and nearly all of their Air Force/navy being blown to hell” thing.

It appears that they didn't really need much of an air force or navy to leverage what they could. Nor does it appear that their governmental and societal structure collapsed by eliminating leadership. Perhaps this has exposed resiliency.

Not saying I prescribe to it at all

Just saying

They’d also argue they don’t care at all that we destroyed those things because Iran wasn’t using those things to go after us

Nothing says “resiliency” like needing to compromise and negotiate a cease fire.

Eh

They’d be completely destroyed if we wanted to do it for whatever reason.

They have been preparing for this situation for decades. They're suicidal maniacs. All logic goes out the window. I actually laughed at Trump calling them crazy bastards on Easter. Because that's exactly what they are. Lost in an otherwise incoherent rant was a nugget of truth.

Right.

As it is, we determine their resiliency.

But they know if we followed through on such a threat we lose whatever moral authority we have.

You think we're in control and hold all the cards. We don't.
