I know many have massive issues with Romney on a lot of things, but IMO economically he’s always been wise.

Right. IL and NY will take those loans with zero intention to repay them. The only way I could support this is is financial stewardship was turned over to some committee with incentive for financial reform.

Meh, Mittens knows how to play the game. Throw a bone out there via a harmless tweet and maintain a level of conservative credibility. At the end of the day Mittens is still UniParty through and through. I’m sure he’ll make some statement or pull some stunt within the next 4-6 weeks to remind us all of that true nature.

What's hilarious about this too is the pensions that are broke would be the buyers of these bonds and they'd be getting a tax break on the interest

Oops nevermind the Feds are already on top of this apparently. They're called BABs and they are federally taxed.
