You are correct in regards to the bunnies and eggs, that's why I call this holy day by it's biblical name "The feast of first fruits". The pagan crap should have no part in God's Holy days!

The pagan crap is why Christians celebrate Christ's resurrection today. I'm no Bible scholar but I'd imagine they have an idea of about when Jesus would have been crucified. Same goes for his birth being in late December. Hell, isn't Saturday the real Sabbath not Sunday? Seems like Christianity has all of its holy days mixed up.

Christ was executed on the day of the passover and put into the grave the same day. He resurrected on the feast of first fruits which falls on the day after the weekly sabbath, so that part the church has correct. No I don't celebrate Christmas, it's not His birth and yes you are also correct in regards to the sabbath, it is the seventh day of the week which is of course Saturday.
The Roman emperor Constantine really messed all of this up due to his combining pagan practices in with Christianity's which is called syncretism. That's where most everything wrong about today's Christian worship came from.
