So what’s he done from a policy standpoint that has caused you to believe he’s committed political suicide?

Idk what I missed, and I don't care. I'm to the point where I'm picking whoever will piss off liberals the most. The ones I know hate RDS more than Trump right now, so either will be fine.

I just stated a fact.

If you don't think a person who voted for pedophilia, open borders and free college is trash, you are part of what is wrong with the Republican Party.

For someone like Ron who has 2028 aspirations and a real chance, he should have stayed out.

Why? Trump will 100% run again in 2028 after he loses to Biden again.

What is Ron supposed to do? Wait until Trump dies? Trump will probably keep running until he dies.

He should have never challenged Trump.

Why should he sit on the sidelines and allow a guy who got his arse kicked by oatmeal brain and has cost us the Senate twice to waltz to the nomination?

I was looking forward to Trump in '24 & Ron in 28' & '32.

No you weren't. When Trump runs again in 2028 you'd vote for him in the primary and tell DeSantis to frick off until 2032. And then you'd do the same thing in 2032, telling DeSantis to wait until 2036.

Nope, that's the full story. They're morons who don't realize they're handing Trump a second term.

Trump vacillating on covid would be my candidate.

Oh yeah, then getting outfoxed by Nancy Pelosi on January 6th.

THAT is getting way way ahead of things. I don't think Trump will run again if he loses. IMHO

I don't think Biden will be the Democratic candidate and I don't think DeSantis wins the nomination. Again, IMHO.

I guess many here are too young to recall Gary Hart(pence) and his challenge to find some salacious info. To a lesser extent, a senator from Delaware who couldn’t recall whether he wrote a speech or just repeated what he heard an Englishman say.

Go back and watch the daily Covid briefings with Trump, he let the media take the narrative and run over him with the bus.

I agree, i still plan to vote for Ron but Trump has too much sway in the party, he would have been the heir in 28 with complete Maga support. Why rush even if he wins two terms as President he’s permantly retired in his 50’s. Think Bill Clinton retired with nothing to do for the last half of his life. Yeah that sounds great to Me and You but thats not what does it for these guys the need challenges and the limelight.
