Not learning the language is only one example of failure to assimilate.
It's one that doesn't really bother me, although I strenuously object to any government requirements forcing anyone to cater to it...if someone wants to come here and not speak the language, that's fine, but it needs to remain their problem, not anyone else's.
The failures to assimilate that concern me are things like failing to understand and support basic constitutional principles, failing to understand and support basic cultural norms and laws, and being antagonistic toward the US.
I care a lot more whether my neighbor is flying an American vs a Mexican flag on their house and keeping a relatively clean and hygienic yard and obeying the law than I do whether they tell me "buenas tardes" or "good afternoon" when we wave at each other at our respective mailboxes.

I never said it was “brown people”. I have said that it is unassimilable people. That includes most Muslims and any other foreign ethnicity that is brought in in numbers too big to assimilate. I’ve written extensively on here about our need to supplement our native population with immigrants and which immigrants i think we should be selecting. I’ve also written that I think we are lucky to have Christian Latinos as our immigrant hordes. So don’t create a brown people strawman for me, Roger.
As to your “white women” assertion, they are certainly a problematic demographic, but without the third world unassimilables we’d be fine.
