What’s vile about it? Those, “people” (I use the term loosely) don’t mind. They signed a fricking PUBLIC letter. They WANT people to know that they’re racist, terrorist sympathizers.

The dude with the truck is just obliging them. He’s helping them.

I may not like supporters of Hamas/Palestinians but it's a fricking farce that we've arrived in a place in our nation where people think doing this is anything but vile behavior.

Maybe, but this is pretty tame considering the shite the left has been doing for years now.

True.

I would add though that is this even a right v left thing? Seems like the left is firmly split between liberal jews and older liberals who support Israel and their younger crowd who basically think all brown people are infallible.

This may well be left on left crime.

They already use similar tactics numb nuts.

"Dude I was just fired today!"

"Why?"

"Some twitter gumshoes found a post I made 12 years ago."

"Aw man, that sucks. But hey, at least they won't call you racist at work now!"

You do understand that time is linear, right?

One of those actions occurred before the other.

You warned of how progressives might react when they were already fricking doing it.

Not sure if disingenuous or just stupid.

Cancelling alone isn’t necessarily something to be celebrated

HOWEVER

The people who normally do the cancelling getting cancelled is schadenfreudelicious.

Everything

I personally think everyone who signed that letter is a POS.

Then again, if I signed something in support of Trump, I feel pretty confident that some morons out there would claim I'd committed an equally bad act.

The point being. I don't thinkn we really want to live in a nation where expressing your political opinion in the open leads to this kind of shite at your home.

And again, I would probably find every single signer to be a vile human being too.

But you have to be able to step back and ask yourself, "is this really the kind of society we want".

We already do.

Letting them feel the sting of the sort of behavior they push just might wake some of them up.

Well, let me be clear here. I've no sympathy for the assholes who probably happily did similar shite to people they didn't like.

I'm merely saying that this really isn't what we want. We didn't used to have it. So, we're capable of going back to not having it.

You would think.

People who aren’t in the “in” group have to moderate their speech lest they be targeted.

These idiots are fine with that because they ARE the “in” group.

Put a bumper sticker on your car for something far left and I doubt anything happens.

Put anything, period, supporting the right in there and I’m sure you end up getting keyed or worse fairly quickly in most areas.

"What if they do the same?"

They already do.

"Yeah, but it's hypocritical to do the same to them when you didn’t like it being done to you!"

There's no hypocrisy in responding in kind.

So… this group is already doing this, but the people turning it back on them are destroying discourse?

You mean the same tactics they started and have continued to use? I don’t know if you have been paying attention… but libs have been doxxing people for years.

Remember this c**t?
