I miss my Mother. I know other people say this, too, and I'm always glad when I hear it, but I had the best Mother ever. Best person I've ever known. She spent her whole life taking care of others and was also the most selfless person I've ever known.
I was only a kid and just had the one Mother, so I thought it was the same way for every family. I found out as I was growing up that it wasn't. I wish I would've had the presence of mind to encourage her to take some time and do some things for herself, but kids just dont think about things like that.
Damn pancreatic cancer. Imo, it's about as bad as anything that can happen to any human being.
