Probably because there was nothing to keep secret. Hannity wouldn't make such a firm statement about "never paying him money" if it weren't true. He has too much to lose by telling such a lie (which would come out considering Mueller has all the documents).
Then why was Cohen so reluctant to give up Hannity's name? He said it would be an embarrassment. Why would it be embarassing to tell a judge that you talked to Hannity about real estate?

You ever stop and realize that you are now relying on Sean hannity’s ties to a lawyer in hopes it some how damages trump because of the level of derangement you and people like you have reached?

You're making a lot of assumptions. I am merely asking why it would be embarrassing to reveal that Hannity is a client. What do you think?

Yeah, I agree. Why in the hell would Hannity be so secretive about his dealings with Cohen if all it was was advice or general discussion about non-specific things. Plus, there's no shame until now about having the same attorney as Donald Trump. Hannity was a client of Cohen; not someone he occasionally went to for advice. If the relationship was as casual as Hannity claims why go to such lengths to keep it a secret?
Precisely.

One comment from a woman:

Does this mean that someone, somewhere, had sex with Sean Hannity?

Michael Cohen had 2 areas of 'specialty' - money laundering through real estate and paying mistresses for silence.
I guess if you're Hannity, the former is less embarrassing than the latter. Though both probably suck for his home life right now.

If you’ve ever worked with an attorney you’d know they don’t ever reveal anything about what they’re doing- especially who their clients are. It’s their nature.
What did you expect? Him to provide a client list to the media?

Nobody “revealed” this. In Cohen’s request to have the courts close access to some documents, the judge asked who the third client was...and it was revealed. The right is trying to make this into a hullabaloo. Also I’m sure Hannity didn’t want that info out.
Whats the big deal though? So he's a lawyer for hannity?

You just haven't made the necessary leaps in logic to see the obvious, Trump is a criminal, Cohen represents Trump so Cohen only represents criminals, Cohen represents Hannity so Hannity must be a criminal.
Using the same logic I once got advice from a lawyer that represented Edwin Edwards, so obviously I must also be a criminal.
