I'm miffed with Trump... but this post takes his meaning out of context. There's enough to side-eye without embellishing shite.

Even within the clip, he speaks fairly specifically to that battery plant.

If you want a SK battery plant in the USA, it is not beyond the realm of belief that you'd need SK's to stand it up and train American counterparts to run it. In fact, this practice is done all over the world.

Is that the entirety of the H1B issue? No... but in that clip, he was speaking specifically to that issue.

I'd like to think Trump can read the temp of his base and adjust accordingly. He's done it before.

MAGA was a Trojan horse for Lindsey Graham, Mark Levin and the MIGA MIC party.

How does he explain spaceX?

You have teams upon teams of AMERICAN CITIZENS (bc of ITAR requirements) designing and engineering the largest flying objects in the world, and also catching them out of the sky after careening back to earth.

Yet we have no talent all of a sudden.

meanwhile, in asia:

Wasn't SpaceX in trouble under the Biden administration for "discrimination" against non citizen applicants?

Anyway... SpaceX and a South Korean battery plant are a tad bit different.

I think there are certain talents we need to import, I think the problem could be corrected by making the fee 100k yearly.

If it truly is a valuable skill we don't have here 100k is peanuts.

So we're talented enough to build starship...

but not talented enough to assemble batteries?

We train 18-year-old kids to operate Nuclear subs but you think we can't somehow operate a battery plant without some H1Bs?

We are being brainwashed to accept that logic. A lot of people eat it up too.
