Yep, the gun shop probably has done this before and so this guy chose to be a story.
Totally.

All one has to do is google gun stores being sued for selling a weapon to the wrong people. The search will be full of lawsuits. The gun stores have a right to refuse and I have no problem with them exercising their rights to also protect themselves. They sell to way more than they refuse.

Yep, seen it happen here. Even if legal, Activist lawyers will come after you with wallets wide open.

Unfortunately, what this guy realizes along with many others is that we've reached a point in the United States where many local DAs don't give a fricking about the law anymore and would happily ruin this dude if they could find ANY reason he "should have known" no matter how miniscule.
In many cities, we just no longer live in a place where following the law will protect us.
This right here.

Remeber “shall not be infringed on”. Why is that difficult to grasp?
Because the shop owner isn't the Govt.

Shall Not Be Infringed.
If Antifa guy passes all requirements, give the man his gun.
I'm sure all the leftists here that hate guns will love them for this story.

Private business bro, The Market will determine to what extent you get to exercise your constitutional rights bro. Do you even labor economy bro?
I'm sure you'd support being forced to allow anyone to carry in your home, too.

I would, but I don't live where he lives and could lose my business.

Iannicelli’s card showed he was affiliated with the violent and extreme organization antifa, which has been linked to hundreds of domestic attacks and threats of terroristic acts against political opponents.
His choice based on pretty fair points, I'm not going to criticize. He lives in a 60% Democrat stronghold that would come after him if that gun was used in a crime.

Denying a purchase due to politics, makes me scoff when the GOP complains about the same.
Serious question.

If Antifa guy passes all requirements, give the man his gun.
But, I also can see why a business owner would be concerned in today's environment of the law basically being irrelevant to some DAs,

He told the gun shop he was part of a terrorist organization.

Same reason those 2 gay guys chose that particular bakery.

Don’t you dare complain when a liberal store owner turns away someone in a MAGA hat

He should start his own gun store.

If you can’t see how this will be used against conservatives and Christians you are blind.

How will it be "used against" them?

Do you not realize people are denied purchase or transfer of guns everyday for the past several decades by gun stores and at gun shows. Gun dealers are not even required to give a reason. Happens daily across the country and you think this one will be used against conservatives and Christians?

Guess you’ve found a nice little loophole for the Dems and feds to exploit. Just like with social media they can contract out their restrictions and regulations to the “private” sector.
Uhh. No. Because when the “Dems and feds” come into the picture.. the 2nd amendment becomes relevant to the discussion again.
