Guns are never going anywhere. It is simply a matter of who gets to have the guns and who doesn't.

“Gun control” was a non-starter. The justification is now “health crisis.” It was the justification used for mask mandates, lockdowns, vaccination passports, outlawing religious gatherings, closing private businesses, etc.
The “health crisis” excuse is going to be used to run roughshod over other Amendments - why stop at three or four?

Ask a gun control advocate how they’ll enforce it. “Cops with guns!” will be the answer.
So yes, they love guns. They just want certain people to have them. A certain group of people who they also claim needs to be defunded and should stop shooting people. Whole lotta disconnect in the thinking.

The real issue is not Gun Control.....
It is the slow reduction of the 2nd Amendment.
You give them an inch, they will take a mile!
That's the real concern, allowing the LEFT to start passing laws that diminish the 2A!

So, hence, gun control. Controlling who gets to have them as in your statement. It's kind of a trojan horse slogan. They're using it as a ruse to say that they care about your safety. Yet, if some far left ideas/laws are enacted, it will have the opposite effect.
