I'd also wager the high suicide rate there is more due to the fact the state has a combination of low population density, harsh weather, and there's nothing to do there.
You left out one big variable that has a huge effect on the number of suicides in a state.
Access to firearms.

I wonder what his spin will be on the whole voter Id law = racist but requiring an id to buy alcohol and tobacco = perfectly okay
Voting is a little more important than alcohol or tobacco or firearms.

hell he won't even admit that the state level is too large to look at for this discussion
Because it's not. What you propose is looking at too narrow a geographical region - and even when we do, your argument fails. But here I am, out here on the merits telling you your 'idea' is not only going to fail, but it's a bad methodology.

he admits the real problem is isolated to certain populations
Yes. Gun owners and the people who believe the NRA propaganda is an isolated population in the US that is causing the problem.

just look at how quickly he dropped the "buyback" argument
It wasn't dropped, we moved on after you lost the point that there had never been a successful buyback program.

You don't have those on your side.
Show me a valid study showing that our extreme excess in gun deaths is in no way related to our ease of access to firearms, and we can talk.
Because we have mountains of studies that show that more guns = more gun deaths, but you're either too stupid or too blind to accept them as valid.

Again, your lack of knowledge here and inability to do basic research of facts is your problem. Reality is clear.

Like I said, I always have fun in these threads showing you dumbasses that reality isn't what Breitbart has told you.
So, that.

The context was on his insistence that only urban areas have a gun death problem. Wyoming being first or third (and it was first in the link I found yesterday and likely posted in this thread, but that was a different computer so I don't have access to the history) isn't really relevant to the fact that he got destroyed.

One of those factors is SES, another is ease of access to firearms.
More laws to control my legal arse and let them continue on as they want.
Don't be stupid.
You are a good person to ask. I keep hearing lefties call for "common sense gun laws". I've never heard even one of these "common sense" laws they propose. You got one or more to share?

Access to firearms.
Guns are most effective.
I'm glad they have them.
