I'm not surprised given that Swalwell declared his campaign for governor just 5 months ago to massive applause on Jimmy Kimmel and declared his campaign for president to massive applause on Colbert.

You completely missed the point. He gets welcomed on the shows like a hero and announces he is running for president, bashes Trump, and gets loudly cheered....then when the embarrassing story emerges, like Michael Avenatti (Stormy's porn lawyer), they move on like nothing ever happened. No self reflection. The only prerequisite to be a guest, is "are you willing to bash Trump?" No brain cells needed.
