Did you watch her statement? She was afraid of his position and power. His connections to other politicians and law enforcement had her concerned for her safety.

Nothing will happen to Swallwell. He's a democrat, therefore, untouchable. I don't care what they have on video. He is a key member of Congress so he won't be serving any time.

Agree that this seems egregious, but no rape kit, and the timing with the CA GOV race being too full is suspect. He may be also being paid off, or there is hope that he could fight back, roll over and blow the whistle on the DNC shenanigans since 2020.

He's a Democrat Congressman that has threatened to kill his domestic enemies. No progressive alive, judge or jury, is going to convict him of anything, especially in those to hell holes.

Rational people want to believe victims, they really do.
But just like “victims” who claim they were wearing a dress the designer hadn’t made yet or who took her entire story direct from a tv show it’s tough to believe a woman who has to keep referring to notes while she’s talking.
I can see Swalwell being a sleaze bag, but for all of it to be brought out like this?
My cynical alarms are going off.
At first I agreed that Dems took the hit on him because they didn’t want to lose California.
And that might still be true.
But this has an orchestrated feel to it, makes me wonder if there was something bigger going to come out, and Dems/Repubs reached a compromise to keep that concealed by sacrificing a couple of their own.
Dem leadership has known about him for years and tolerated it. Now this? There’s more to the story.
