One thing that I am convinced of, and so should anyone paying attention, and that’s God is true in His promises to Israel. How such a tiny country can be surround by so many adversaries at every border who hate them with every inch of their being, and defend that country against such overwhelming odds over and over and over again is simply astounding really. This isn’t to commend Israel necessarily in every thing it does, but it is to recognize the almighty hand of God in being true to His word.

The 10% tithe was for the people of Israel in the OT.....in reality the generosity and giving expected of devout Christians is more than 10% when money and volunteering are combined.

Well, this IS true. America’s assisting Israel in weaponry only began in the 60’s after Israel fought for its right to exist and after the Frenchies pulled out. Still, it’s been Israel with their behinds on the line against these evil monsters, every single day since its re-formation as a nation. There are no American troops in country, and never has been. Do we share a common enemy? YEAH. Do we do Israel’s fighting for them, NO. Israel does that all by itself, and pound for pound, they are as tough as they come. I have all the admiration for their military and determination to exist that I can muster, but then a people who’ve been so shite upon and genocide attempted against them, you can see why they fight so valiantly.
For the US to be an ally to Israel is a no brainer in both our shared love for democracy, freedom and liberty, and faith, and if God uses the US to support their right to exist, GOOD!!! I feel honored to be even a very small part of that.
