Oh shut the frick up. If a child is "brainwashed" by a couple of bozo professors, it's likely the parents fault to begin with

additionally, one day kids will have to go out into the world and deal with it themselves and make their own decisions and theres nothing mommy and daddy will be able to do about it

And, for what it's worth, there is absolutely nothing in that LSU Diversity Statement that should be controversial.
That whole statement is word salad bullshite.

nt, because youre a true believer.
Look in the mirror.
Kids are notoriously unreliable narrators and I also wouldn’t put it past you to make up a story to prove a point - like you did when you decided I was on welfare.

You’re just an idiot. It happens all the time. You don’t notice it because you’re not terribly observant.
Oh someone disagrees with you- person must be an idiot. Never mind that you’ve provided no actual evidence to support your wild hypothesis.

No, you have a huge body of work on this site which kind of proves you are an idiot.
A hateful, hypocritical one at that.

Universities have always been a breeding ground for out of touch elite liberals. I’m not sure you can really stop them, it’s the nature of who/what they are. You can do your best to teach your kids right from wrong and real from BS before they step foot on campus though.

Your kids an adult. You need to wake up.
My kids were kids as long as I was supporting them.
When they start supporting themselves, then they are adults.
When they start making their way in the real world some grow up quickly, others take a little longer.

There’s mounds of evidence to support my hypothesis. You’re not interested in it because you won’t be convinced by anything.
The podcast “The New Discourses” has dozens of episodes on how Marxist theory has invaded our education system. Feel free to check it (you won’t).

where does this happen all the time?

So-called "equitable math" has received substantial funding from the Bill and Melinda Gates Foundation. On the website equitablemath.org , which provides materials for educators, including one on Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction, the Gates Foundation is prominently thanked for providing "generous financial support."
The foundation does not list "equitable math" among its listed grant recipients, but it did provide a $500,000 donation "to support equitable math educational opportunities and outcomes" to the University of Texas at Austin's Charles E. Dana Center in July 2021. The website notes that "math problems ... have correct answers," but says the program is the "simple understanding that students and communities come from different backgrounds and may have different ways of being and thinking, even in math."
Butcher said that the Gates-funded initiative and others are working to change how math is taught from "how numbers operate and work together" to claiming that math is an area in which the culture of the U.S. "harbors white supremacy" due to achievement gaps between white students and black students.
"Dismantling white supremacy" is a phrase that repeatedly appears in the materials for Dismantling Racism in Mathematics Instruction. The words "white supremacy" appear in the 83-page document 54 times. The materials define white supremacy as the idea that "white people and the ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and actions of white people are superior to people of color and their ideas, thoughts, beliefs, and actions."
"The framework for deconstructing racism in mathematics offers essential characteristics of antiracist math educators and critical approaches to dismantling white supremacy in math classrooms by making visible the toxic characteristics of white supremacy culture with respect to math," the program says in its introduction.

Here’s how this discussion goes.
“That’s not happening.”
“Here’s where it’s happening.”
“That’s one isolated instance.”
“Here’s a nationwide push by the Department of Education pushing racial ideas in math.”
“Good. They should be.”
“I thought you said it wasn’t happening.”
“You’re living in 1970. Grow up and join us in the brave new world you dumb white bigot.”

Do you really think this happens in schools?
Yes, but even if it isn't (it is), you said algebra classes were *immune* to politicalization. I'm showing you that you can inject politics into anything so that line of defense isn't worty anything.

Already seeing this crap start up in middleschool unfortunately. It's not as hamfisted as what's going on in deep blue districts but it's certainly starting up and will only get worse as parents don't push back.

From an actual math text that Florida ended up banning from their schools.

Welcome to New Discourses! We like to think of this place as a home for the politically homeless, especially for those who feel like they’ve been displaced from their political homes because of the movement sometimes called “Critical Social Justice” and the myriad negative effects it has had on our political environments, both on the left and on the right. If that’s you, welcome, and make yourself at home.
So you’re trying to tell me people looking for reasons to be offended… found reasons to be offended?

This is the best you can come up with? A statistics exercise about people who took a survey?
