A citizen isn't sneaking across the border

So this new policy would only apply to people caught sneaking across the border?

Once the get cleared, they are free to stay?

They're not owed due process. They're not citizens. Membership has its privileges.

If they aren't holding them for a crime, how would it be a violation of the 5th Amendment?

Due Process applies to more than just criminal proceedings and clearly this is a criminal action as they are being punished for illegal presence.

That maybe your opinion but it is totally incorrect from a legal standpoint.

Except they wouldn't be punished. I don't believe the US government will hold them in Mexican prisons for illegally entering America

Really? Being forcibly taken back across the border isn't a punishment?

Not legally

No, but you're required to give your name if asked by authorities so they can run it through a data base to check for warrants.

We shouldn’t even hear about all of this bullshite. Within 24 hrs of being caught, an illegal should already be on a buss back across the border. End of discussion.

No more than having a squatter on your private land removed for trespass.

Hmmm, you ain’t got valid identification, you go home. Pretty simple and very European.

You have an awful lot of faith in our federal govt to deport only illegals.

You will have to forgive me if I dont trust everything my govt says.
