I try to be very succinct with my contributions. Glad you understood.
Just trying to have a discussion. I usually troll a lot like you, but I felt like I should give my knowledge and try to educate myself with others thoughts and educate others in question on here.
This is such a huge OP it won't ever touch the basics. Lol. This isn't something small, it needs to be studied a lot more imo.

Dale, you keep trying to go back and argue different posts.
I was replying to your post claiming that people can actually harm a planet. How is the planet being harmed?

You think it's good if I go and smoke a pack of smokes and toss it out? Can I throw them in your bed? I mean you probably don't want it because it's nasty and you could get sick.
The Earth is a living thing too and we destroy the frick out of it.
If you can't see it in this basic argument, you'll never see it.

We are adding toxic elements to our air, our water, our food. We pay the cost for that as we go and our children/grandchildren will pay more. But CO2 isn't one of those. We are also deoxygenating the ocean, overfishing and ruining a vast food supply for ourselves.
You make some great points. Why do we let the Left control the entire message? Why doesn't the Right have any message about taking better care of our environment? The Left controls the entire message about our environment.

Your question is like a Corey Booker question. You tell me to stay on point but the questions you won't let me answer aren't simple questions/answers.
O.K. Lets boil it down to basics and give your position the benefit of the doubt.
The sky is falling because of global warming. What do you suggest be done to stop it?

I can't answer that directly because it will lead this conversation in many different ways.
The thing I suggest is to educate further. If you find that it is still your original oppinon, that's fine. But you're going to find things along the way that will make you think/feel different.

What is the gamble? The entire population of the planet could be put in an area the size of the state of Texas and Ariz with those people living in the density of the people in NYC. That leave the entire rest of the planet with zero people on it.
Google it.
Nassim Taleb says it best:
"On climate change… we should ask “what would the correct policy be if we had no reliable models”? writes Nassim Taleb and co-authors.
We have only one planet. This fact radically constrains the kinds of risks that are appropriate to take at a large scale. Even a risk with very low probability becomes unacceptable when it affects all of us - there is no reversing mistakes of that magnitude.
Without any precise models, we can still reason that polluting or altering our environment significantly could put us in uncharted territory, with no statistical track-record and potentially large consequences...
While some amount of pollution is inevitable, high quantities of any pollutant put us at a rapidly increasing risk of destabilising the climate, a system integral to the biosphere. Ergo, we should build down CO2 emissions, even regardless of what climate-models tell us.
Push a complex system too far and it will not come back. The popular belief that uncertainty undermines the case for taking seriously the “climate crisis” that scientists tell us we face is the opposite of the truth."
It is important to remember, Nassim Taleb is not known for liberal left leaning views. He has some good writings on his views you can find with a google search or by following him on twitter.

I’m not sure about all of the so called effects of uncontrolled manufacturing but I’ve spent a week in Beijing. More smoke and smog than a Cheech and Chong movie.....24/7....I can’t see that being all that great for the environment.
Then why didnt the Paris accord do something about that? Instead of letting them do whatever they want.
Its like plastic pollution on the oceans. We cant use a damn straw, but the main ocean polluters are Russia, China, and Asia.
And Russia, China, and Asia dont give a frick about pollution.

What are you trying to say?? Your supposed point is what? The dust bowl was caused by climate change?
The dust bowl was caused by people. Yet you say people cannot impact the earth.

Thank you.
Like I said, I only know a little bit, but it did open my eyes.
This topic can go in so many ways and it would just turn into an argument.

I would also like to add that people corrected the dust bowl. That is something that should give us all hope.
Posted on 10/10/18 at 9:57 am to lsu13lsu
And you agree that it comes down to greed, yes?

Global Warming/Climate Change is a population control gimmick.

Interesting argument but like I said, this can be spun in many ways and it's a lot
Can the Earth keep handling more ppl?

people corrected the dust bowl
Both the cause and the cure for the Dust Bowl were largely natural processes.
Would not have occurred without severe drought conditions lasting several years. People left the land, and when rains returned plants grew there. Problem solved.

Sort of. Q is the reason I started to question and look into Antarctica.
Sources are petty certain that’s where major world globalists like Bezos, Musk, Bilderberg people, and etc meet to discuss their operations. It’s an underground facility away from journalists and truth seekers. They don’t want the ice caps to melt and expose their meeting spot.
We should sent USCG ice cutters down there to see what we can find.

Methane from COWS is far more damaging than carbon from Humans.
