Exactly. It's why we're divided into 2 groups. You're either a tree-hugger or a denier. It's infuriating.

I personally haven't seen a report that has convinced me that man has made a significant impact on the change. And I still don't understand why one would not do everything in their power to be a good steward of the earth and the enviroment

That is the risk of building ag farms in areas that are naturally deserts a lot of the time.

How big a part of that is caused by priorities for where the water goes and natural weather cycles?

I myself need to look into it more. I was just pointing out quick examples and like I said it comes down to greed. Desertification is because of greed and over using the land. Add in change in the environment like a drought and it's disasterous.

More than just reports and what not. Desertification is happening more places than just here too. There is a shift and climates are changing in areas it once wasn't affecting.

But wouldn't it make sense that this is because of man? Of course. Ppl at the beginning of this thread say it's bullshite.

I'm not a tree hugger but we do destroy this Earth everyday.

Nice try.... the trade war really began on May 28, 1993 when Clinton signed E.O. 12850, whereby he siezed control of of the MFN (Most Favored Nation) conditions, removing it from the involvement of Congress (who until that point had to vote annually to reaffirm China’s MFN status) and shifted it to the Secretary of State.

Up until then, our trade deals with China required they had to treat their own people in a humanitarian way in order to maintain its MFN status. With MFN Chinese manufacturers only had to pay a 6% tariff. Without it they would have had to pay 40%.

Until the EO was signed by Clinton, we had an $18b trade deficit w/ China. Now, after having lost tens of millions of American manufacturing jobs, we are sitting at a $375b deficit.

So yeah, Clinton sold us out, Bush was a globalist shill that didn’t change anything and Obama/Hillary continued making things worse.

Thank God we have a President that wants to see his own country prosper. It’s been far too long.

No it wouldn't

If you are concerned be concerned about what we are doing to the Ocean. Once Poseidons had enough it will be devastating

You're confusing pollution with climate change.

Don't tell them about the dust bowl. We cannot do anything about what happens to the earth, remember?

The Earth and the environment can take care of itself? Actually there is nothing that man can do that actually harms the Earth. I'm pretty sure the planet is O.K.

Conservatives used to conserve the environment. I consider myself one of those conservatives. I am no tree hugger but to think that 7.5 billion people are not having an impact on our climate is a pretty big gamble.

Of course it does, but trash on the side of the road doesn't equate to a 3 degree increase in global temperature.
