when do you mean?

I feel like you’re being disingenuous. Are you? The country went into a pretty serious recession at the start of Obama’s presidency. When trump took over the economy was on the rise (not debatable) and continued to thrive under trump. I’m giving credit to both. Tell me in your words why the credit should be only given to the person elected in 2016.

If you’re serious about keeping it an actual debate without insulting, my question would be at one point after the recession during the obama administration when the economy started picking up us credit not given to obama and only given to trump when he took over during the same rise?

Easy.

Obama used "quantitative easing" with government money

Trump did the opposite and let the economy grow more organically

Look up the word "Grammar" in the dictionary

Also, if I recall, I remember media outlets and leftists claiming that the economy would crash if Trump were to win the election back in 2016. Yet, here we are; and the economy has done the exact opposite.

And then, ironically, you credit Obama. Can't have it both ways, buddy.

I think he asked for specific policies of Obama's that you can credit the 4% GDP.

Well it’s probably too soon to tell if it was directly related and affected but the recovery act was passed 4 weeks into Obama’s first term with a spiraling GDP, within the next year it was growing at over 2.5% again. Debates could be held over whether or not the economy would have recovered without that but it’s believed that it would have gone much lower before turning around.
