My guess? It's because POTUS Trump invoked the insurrection act and handed this off to the military days ago now. I wish it would come to a close. We may not even still be at the precipice. Imagine Biden turning the military against his own damn mob (ANTIFA).

It's funny how all you trolls come to the exact same flawed conclusion. 75 million votes for Trump says your conclusion fricking sucks.

There are various reasons, but this time it was under the direction of FEMA. Which as everyone from Louisiana knows, if an emergency is declared under the Stafford Act FEMA becomes the most powerful agency within the US.
Which is what happened under the legal pretense.

Trump had to be trolling them.
When he sent the crowd to the capitol he wanted to show them his power.
When he sent the guard to the capitol he wanted to show them their weakness.
The man is the greatest troller of all time. GEOTUS
This is exactly right, imo.

Absolutely.

There was a reason they were there and we’re not privy.
I got this very feeling while being present in the environment. We were prepping for something that never was, nor was even *hinted* at as far as actionable intel. There was no 'violent protest" incoming, not even whispers of one outside of the MSM claiming it.
There is MUCH more to this story, but no one outside of the top officials will probably ever know. I personally think there was a foreign threat, but I have nothing but a gut feeling and a read on the environment in DC to go on.

What’s very curious is that the MIL has not started to pack up in any capacity. It is like they are there for another purpose.

Myself and other Marshals are leaving in just a few hours. But all those leaving that I've talked to are from different regions than DC, so who knows if it's just US being sent home or back to our everyday jobs.
The soldiers don't seem to be going anywhere, any time soon. I haven't personally witnessed any widespread preparations to head out on their part, but don't get me confused with some insider. I've spent the majority of my time here in DC in my hotel room or in meetings.

coast guard aren't military
Exactly.
They are DHS on US soil.
They fall under Dept of Navy outside.

It’s a theatrical play. In 15 years, it will be known as “the suicide, the heart attack, and the murder of 3 patriots.”

is the military there because Biden is an illegitimate president due to foreign interference/stolen election, and the transition was from Trump to military. The head of the national guard saying “peaceful transfer to military power” on GMA makes me wonder too.
I’ve heard by some that they are staying 30 days. I guess 30 days from when they arrived?? I’ve heard by others they’re leaving on the 24th.
But If they leave on the 24th then this “theory” is blown.....
I’ve accepted commies may rule over us, but as long as the military is there i remain hopeful

How could they defend us from domestic enemies if not deployed on us soil?
Posted on 1/21/21 at 4:00 am to berrycajun
I think Trumps EO a couple of weeks ago extended the Stafford Act that was invoked in March to Jan 24th. But it seems that Biden could cancel that anytime he wants. If he thought that they were hanging around for some ambush or round up, he can send them away at his leisure.

Fun Fact: Neither the Department of Defense, Homeland Security nor the FBI will say how long military troops will be in Washington DC.

Ever hear of executive orders? Are military tribunes public record? Did they feel having a “visible” Trump would be too divisive? Are they keeping the military in place in DC? I can’t grasp the idea of Trump riding off into the sunset defeated. Is he the type to do that?

The National Guard is not regular Army...they do their basic with the Army but still, they're considered week-end warriors. They go home after basic and/or AIT but regular Army is in it for the duration of their enlistment period.

It’s statutory, not constitutional. It’s called the Posse Comitatus Act.
It does not apply to the National Guard. Technically it doesn’t apply to the Navy or the Corps either.
Bottom line: You can use the National Guard.

The question is not whether you can use the National Guard is the manner in which they are being used same for the Coast Guard.
Oh and did anyone happen to notice at what time Biden was sworn in?
