So, if the President wasn't completely exonerated, is it that (1) he's lying, (2) he doesn't know what those words mean, or (3) something else?

There wasn't any collusion or obstruction.

How is that NOT a complete exoneration??

You might want to pay attention to the thread. It could help you not to ask stupid questions.

If he claimed the report exonerated him, it would be correct on legalistic grounds .

If he claimed the report “makes me look 100% clean” that would be misleading.

There is no reason to put “complete” in front of the word exoneration

Sounds like a reasonable question to me. Try again

How can they have a rebuttal ready so quickly?

They had this prepared weeks ago, just in case Muller's report said Trump was guilty of anything. Giuliani said as much on Fox News when M's report first came out.

Why is this so hard for you to understand? You have to try really hard to miss such a simple point. The President was not charged with any crimes as a result of the Mueller investigation. Obviously, there will be things in the report which Democrats intend to take political advantage of. WHICH, by the way, is why NO PART of this report should ever see the light of day. It's now nothing more than a political document. It has NO VALUE other than that. And it is a complete VIOLATION of the President's rights as a FREE and INNOCENT Citizen of the United States of America to have details of an investigation in which he is UNCHARGED, released for consumption by his political opponents.

How about "complete and total"?

The President's characterization of it is IRRELEVANT. He is not being charged with any CRIME.

It’s pretty obvious you think trump committed obstruction

It may or may not be a reasonable question, but it is certainly not a reasonable question to ask me. I haven't opined at all on whether the Mueller report is a "complete and total exoneration," as I have no idea what's in it. POTUS said it was, so I was wondering why he would rebut a report that completely exonerates him. If you have a problem with somebody complaining about that wording, take it up with the Michigan guy posting in this thread.

I have no idea. Maybe I'll know more tomorrow. I hope he didn't. I simply find it strange that the administration is so public about putting together a rebuttal against a document that they claim completely and totally exonerates him. If that's the case, then the President and all of his supporters should be thrilled that the report is coming out in public.

Bob Mueller is apparently not going to absolve Donald of his mattress tag ripping proclivities. There. Not a complete exoneration. You happy now?
