What due process issue do you have regarding Rudy?

Schiff is feigning legal authority, the press is acting like he has legal authority and selling it to the public. But in reality their impeachment inquiry is just a empty paper tiger.

If they bring a civil lawsuit and the focus of that lawsuit is the congressional subpoena, yes they can.

Uhh, a judge isn’t going to just make a ruling upon request without hearing arguments from both sides.

They have to have a "legislative purpose". If their reasoning for issuing the subpoenas have that, then they are legit.

What would you guess this "legislative purpose" consists of?

Anyone can sue anyone for anything. It doesn't mean they will win.

Is Schiff and crew ready for a counter suit?

I shouldn’t have any. You’re the one who seems to believe that a judge will just grant a ruling upon request without hearing arguments from both sides.

I’d like to hear this too, considering they refuse to vote on anything.

His argument is ..."Fug off. What ya gonna do about it?"

At that point, the judge would need to heard both sides to rule one way or the other?

Incorrect. Both civil contempt and criminal contempt exist. If you wish to read about both and the differences between them, go to the link and read 754 and 755 from the US DOJ Criminal Resource Manual.

Bon appetit. US DoJ CRM

Congressional subpoenas have traditionally been complied with based on norms

Oh yeah, well Hillary didn’t get that memo. And oddly enough, these very same Dems didn’t give a frick that she ignored those subpoenas, OBSTRUCTED JUSTICE and destroyed emails and devices and LIED to the FBI.

So your entire party can take all of these fake subpoenas and shove them right up your collective asses

If congress passes a resolution (i.e., legislation) to start an official impeachment inquiry then the judiciary can enforce subpoenas.

Is that a theory or legit precedent? Not being passive aggressive just want to know before I start repeating what you say.

Ok.

Schiff can file suit against Rudy to force his compliance. Let the chips fall where they may.

it's a precedent in that that's how it was done for Nixon and Clinton, but the Constitution says nothing about how the House conducts impeachment. It's their rule to make.

And does anyone really believe a vote on an official impeachment inquiry is going to change the outcome here?

Agree. The House needs to move on an make Rudy's behavior part of general obstruction & contempt of Congress articles.
