Get a doctor to get that in writing as a medical exemption.

If they refuse, threaten to hold then personally liable for wrongful death and make then sign in writing acknowledging it.

This is a pretty quick and easy way to get dismissed from a physician’s office. Threatening to sue them if they don’t agree with you is generally not tolerated very well.

Pretty sure they meant to sue her employer for not accepting her medical exemption, not sue the physician.

Great idea. Sue the Navy.

Shouldn’t be they difficult or costly.

Just hoping to get court date set if after retirement date let it go. Rock and hard spot. She really is against vax . Scared all her family heart issues.

I’m going to delete my post about what I think you should do. Please consider it - it’s good advice and likely your best option.

Good luck.

My wife works for federal government.

I'm a contractor for the fed. I got my forced vaccine email and a demand that I provide my vaccine status to HR immediately. If I don't Vax by Nov 15th I can't go into the office or travel. If I don't Vax by January then I'm sure i'll be let go. I got buddies already saying they are out but I need the money.

The contractor I work for rhymes with Daytheon.

I work for the Corps but our district hasn't even put out any actual guidance. I'm hoping they make exemptions fairly easy as I get the idea that how they allow exemptions will be up to the agency. Maybe the agency she works for will give her a pass since she's about to retire.

I'm 20+ years from retirement and never really cared for working for govt, so I'll be quitting or trying for exemption.

FMLA would give her up to 12 weeks off. Surely the loss of her brother would cause her anxiety exacerbated by working? Or maybe you need a caregiver for a while?

Find a doctor who doesn't think the vaccine is good. Pay him for fake vaccine.

Well he didn’t mention it was the Navy until the exact moment I posted. Agree it would be difficult and costly but with how backlogged the courts are right now, they could likely get it held up enough to get her to that January date.

Usually people nearing retirement have tons of vacation and sick time accrued. Would it be possible for her to take a lot of really long vacations from October through January? Probably only if she has a sympathetic direct supervisor to approve it.

Not sure how to word this but here goes. They have not showed presidents signed decision yet. She said she may be able push back vax date until signed documents are shown to workers. So lost.

The most exhilarating part is how American citizens are being forced into submission and prepared for totalitarianism while foreigners and criminals are granted liberty and immunity.

This is a runout the clock situation. She takes whatever vacation leave she has left, maybe has a few dr appointments scheduled, cancelled, rescheduled, a lot of lengthy back and forth explaining how she’s looking into getting the vaccine but has to make sure it’s the correct one, maybe she stays home a while because she possibly has covid and doesn’t want to get anyone sick, etc. Then before you know it it’s January.

Since I am being forced - I also recently had Covid and survived it- although it wasn't fun. I'm debating just getting Johnson and Johnson even though it's considered to not be as strong of effacacy becuause i'm leery of the mRNA vaccines and J and J is not being heavily pushed for Boosters. If I can just get one shot and be left the frick alone at work Ill be happy. I wish I could get out if it all together but as a fed contractor im going to be forced.
