I miss Rex.

Pompeo is dangerous. What did his cabal propose this week, a no fly zone over Syria?

That’s an act of war, and it means exposing allied aircraft to the latest generation of Russian air defense systems. I don’t have a lot of faith in the Russian ship building program, but they’ve always spent heavily on air defense systems, and theirs are better then ours. Especially their electronic warfare platforms.

Pompeo’s crew also wants to permanently occupy Northern Syria.

These people are morons.

So if he hires someone who is lazy and as dumb as a rock, who says unflattering stuff about him after being fired, that doesn’t reflect poorly on the person who hired him?

Here's a composite of all Trump's tweets about Tillerson from the honeymoon to the inevitable shite-flinging stage of the relationship.

I don’t know the question that led to the quote you posted; however, if those are Tillerson’s words they are highly inflammatory and condescending. The way it was said would be spun by the left that the President is barely held back from becoming a fascist leader and is inept in the realities of the world. I would say that quote is straight crazy left wing bait.

I would say that is not fair and it was classless of Tillerson to make those comments. I would wager the context is much more mundane and controversial in the context of a brainstorming/executive level negotiation discussion behind closed doors.

Trump’s response in that context I believe was fair in a vacuum. I don’t like seeing that in a tweet as I think it just feeds his opposition. Trump is in a lose-lose as the media is so biased that no one would call out the ridiculousness of the Tillerson quote you posted. He then goes on to defend himself as no one else will, and he will get criticized again when in a vacuum it isn’t that ridiculous.

You know what else is classy? Trump firing Tillerson on twitter. I told another poster this but I hope you get fired on twitter one day. I'm sure you'll have nice things to say about your employer

I want changes to our consistent deficit spending. Does "our" president?

Yes I do also.

I kinda think he does also.

That’s gonna take changing Congress.

We are taking baby steps in the Senate.

We took a big step backwards in the house.

You can’t change in four years what has grown over decades.

The obvious fact that establishment dems. Reps. And msm are against him is a positive sign, in my opinion.

I am starting to believe that Trump is in over his head. He shook the world in 2016 and turned some heads in politics. He should bow out gracefully and state he did what he wanted to do. We need someone who can govern and Trump just cannot do it. I would love for Cruz to have a chance.

The poor rock removed himself from ExonMobil as CEO.........

The rock was trying to save ExonMobil business concerns in the world.....

The Donald puts America first over Exon Mobil to MAGA......

The rock got crushed by the Paper and Scissors....

Obviously Trump is attempting to trick the media into writing stories about how wonderful Rex is.

I bet Trump’s view of his job as a CEO through a business perspective compared to a government official like the typical swamp politician creates a very different dynamic in the White House. I bet some of these other private indrusty types like Tillerson don’t like not being the alpha dog in that context. I bet the career politicians don’t like it being a business because there may be standards and expectations.

So hate to out myself but I work for XOM and can say 100% that executives within hold similar view. He would make decisions in isolation hamstringing the various business lines. His decisions lacked proper deliberation and ended with us having lots of bad assets to manage. Hence why the stock price has remained flat for over a decade. His major moves: Canadian oil sands, Russian JV in the arctic, Kurdistan, XTO, exploration activities in places we couldn’t possibly extract from... he micromanaged the hell out of Iraq. More focused on proved reserve replacement rather than cash flow, returns and reducing produced cost per bbl.

If trump hadn't fired Tillerson in favor of a dual citizen neocon Pompeo and then brought in dual citizen neocoj Bolton, I would care a lot less about this tweet.
