I absolutely hate that bitch for what she did to the city. You have actual TDS to take from any post I have made here that I would vote for KLB.

Ironic that DEMS have 2 bottoms on the ballot for GOV and SEN.

Burt Jones here
And Collins
I once complained GA lacked for dynamic candidates. Meaning it was always boring, next man up sort of stuff. But look, Nathan Deal, Kemp, Perdue, etc. - GA has done pretty well when we've let the boring "next man up" take the spot.
So, while I'm not really an establishmentarian, I'm also not sure we need guys we pick for their name and then train to be in politics (Dooley) or rich guy outsiders who really can't articulate any substantive argument for what they want to accomplish (Jackson).
That said, I'm not too passionate about it, and it's not like I'll sit on my hands if either of my preferred candidates lose.

I really like Collins, but I'm worried about his connection to Brandon Phillips. I know he finally fired him after he used the official campaign Twitter to attack one of Dooley's staffers, but Phillips (and Collins) have an ethics investigation hanging over them because Phillips gave his girlfriend a "job" in Collins's HoR office where she got paid but didn't really work.
I feel like Dooley's kind of a village idiot type, but does he have less baggage and oppo research available on him?

I just can't find anyone to make an affirmative case for Dooley
All I see are the typical handwringing Erick Erickson types out there telling me I have to vote for Dooley because of inside baseball antics from the Collins team. 99.99% of GA voters had no idea that someone on Dooley's team had married one of the claimants against Matt Lauer until Erickson et al. started talking about it. Which isn't to say Brandon Philipps isn't a problem and didn't prompt it, it's just being used to drive this pro-Dooley narrative and I find it very odd.
When asked, none of them can make any real argument FOR Dooley. I don't dislike him, I'll take him as a warm body to vote for if it comes to it, but the entire saga feels very inorganic to me

There's just something about Jackson I don't trust so it's Jones for me

I don't like any of them. I guess Burt
My problem is that their commercials have been horrible and it's all Vote for me because Barry is bad or vote for me because Rick is bad. They have not offered one single solution about anything that makes lives better.. just a bunch of mud slinging towards each other

Jones in runoff, but will vote Jackson in November against KLB if needed

I have heard rumors and strong opinions on Rick Jackson, and he is certainly slinging mud at Burt Jones. Love to hear thoughts from the Board.
I am mighty tired of the mudslinging coming from Jackson's group. It is truly wearisome to open up the mailbox every afternoon and unload six or eight anti-Jones flyers. I do like Jackson's ideas for reducing taxes in the state, but the Jones-bashing seems to be the primary plank of their platform. At this point I could go either way in the runoff. The only thing that's certain is that I will NOT be voting for KLB in November. That would be the end of Georgia as we know it as we would turn into Mega-Atlanta with all the cronyism.

Rick Jackson just seems like he doesn't know how to be a normal human being with his "any questions?" tough guy commercials
