No shite Bush 43 has a different worldview on foreign policy than Donald Trump.
Trump could be mother Theresa for all we know and Bush still wouldn't like her if he had the same foreign policy views as Trump.

Where did this "isolationist" term come from? Are we not involved as much/more around the world? The only real difference i see is that Trump is more inclined to use economic means than military. In fact from what i have seen trump is more willing to talk (presumably listen) / meet with anyone.
I like GW but he is seemingly talking out of his @$$ on this. Its a talking point that requires no susbstantive proof for acceptance. We, the US, arent retreating into a shell like a turtle. He or I may be confusing Nationalism vs Isolationism then yes I believe that we are becoming more nationalistic in that we are not turning the other cheek for the rest of the world. However some would argue that Bush was more "nationalistic" ...Trump isnt invading/occupying countries for their natural resources
