George Flaggs is the kind of Democrat we need in America

He's the mayor of Vicksburg, Mississippi. He was on Supertalk this morning talking about the election in which the GOP swept all state offices and holds a supermajority in both chambers.
Some quotes to consider:
"We have to work with Republicans. If we were in a plane at 30,000 feet and the pilot announced he was Republican, we wouldn't jump."
"Teachers are getting too political. They need to learn to work with the legislature instead of trying to elect certain people. Teachers don't realize that while they may have the power to help a candidate, they do not have the power to defeat a candidate."
The guy is working hard for Vicksburg as well. Worked with the Continental Plant to expand the Port of Vicksburg to handle the shipments for the plant, which sits 22 miles from Vicksburg. Parlayed it into jobs for his community at the plant as well.
Continental's original plan was to ship to New Orleans and truck it up. Mississippi continues to kick Louisiana's arse in creating jobs.

is a Conservative, he just knows his demographics and knows what it takes to get votes. He is MAGA and he is also the reason that Warren County has the highest job rankings in Mississippi. A lot of black folks in Vicksburg dont like him bc, well... They are brainwashed

There are a ton of delta town mayors/aldermen/judges that are as conservative as they come, they just run as a Democrat because you have to to not lose all the black vote. Run in a town/district that’s 35-50% white and get all the white vote plus 10-20% black vote and win
