They ripped him out of there like he was holding a gun trying to rob somebody. All because he stood up to a public official.

Bush the war criminal still heavily protected.

Wonder how he even got in there. Former Presidents usually charge a lot for these events.

When the dust settles, GWB May go down as the worst President of all time. His actions in leading us to war in Iraq and his mishandling of Afghanistan permanently lowered America’s standing in the world.

As much as I love Pompeo, even he said that when The Hague wanted to try Bush and company for what they did and try them as war criminals, he would not capitulate.

The Hague can sit on an AIDS infested dick. Bush is a piece of shite, but the Hague has no business judging anyone.

90% of people here probably called anyone who opposed the Iraq War a traitor back in 2002.

Yeah it is crazy to see. The vitriol against anyone who opposed the war was insane.

I've never understood this argument. I'm not saying Saudi is innocent, but bin Laden was exiled from Saudi...like disavowed, a laughing stock. He fled to Sudan so they couldn't find him. He was also privately wealthy, meaning he didn't need saudi money.

So besides being born there and being despised, explain the connection for me?

At no point in history did bin Laden have the support of the Saudi government

Yes he was exiled, because he wanted to overthrow the Saudi regime for letting US troops use Saudi Arabia as a rallying point to launch operations against Iraq in Gulf War 1. Saddam was no fan of the Saudi Royal family and they feared after he took Kuwait, they were next.

So they first let the USA use Saudi territory to save their rear end from Saddam in Gulf War 1 and then afer Bin Laden threated them, they exiled him.

They did it to save their own rear end, not because of his ideology. The Saudi's fund much of the same type religious ideology that Bin Laden was pushing (Wahhabbism Sunni Islam). In fact, it is the dominant sect of Islam in Saudi Arabia.

I told myself that W was a decent and honorable man.

I think that I may have been wrong. That hurts.

I feel the same way.

My Dad was a big fan of Bush family. He supported both HW and W in a big way and for his support he was invited to the family ranch for a W send off where HW, W, and Jeb were there with about 1000 other people. I went with my Dad and was so excited to get my picture with the 3 of them.

I have removed that picture from our walls. It really hurt me to do it, but having that picture up and knowing the truth of who they are made me sad.

My Dad passed away shortly after that and I am glad he wasn't here to see who they really are. I know he knows now, but he sees things differently where he is than we do here.

If you want something really mind blowing, look up how Pakistan essentially runs our foreign policy in the ME.

Guess what border in Afghanistan we weren’t allowed to invade from?

Oh you are correct about Pakistan. There Intelligence Agency knew damn well Bin Laden was the entire time. Many of the Afghani tribes on the border with Pakistan are ethnic Pashtuns who are also the dominant ethnic group on the Pakistan side of the border. They are the same people ethnically and culturally.
