I doubt any of them ever read the Constitution, much less decide if anything they do would pass constitutional muster.

I’d love her to fight SCOTUS on this one.

Either she gets bitchslapped or the Commerce Clause is dead.

The GOP needs to use shite like this against the dems.

Not necessarily only against this dumb bitch, but advertise it as "Democrats want to outlaw ships waiting to get into Cali ports".

Hang it around the necks of all dems.

Show people how dumb these frickers are.

No, it’s beyond her stupidity. It’s Hank Johnson stupidity who thinks if you put enough weight on Guam that it would flip over.

I don't think OC has a major port it's Long Beach

They don't want these just sitting there off the coast

The oil spill made a lot of ppl angry.

It doesn't matter what county the port is in. California doesn't have the authority to regulate commerce between nations or states.

Banning the ships? You are fricking retarded. Try leaning on Newsom to dump his trucking and Covid bull shite causing the backlogs.

Yeah, didn't she say no trucks over 3 yrs. old are allowed into the state?

Then she said to bring in the trucks.

No one in this thread knows she's a Republican.

Looks like being dumb isn't exclusive to California Dems

The ships should come to Florida. Our governor said we can unload them.

Regardless of all you said you have to admit she's a dumb bitch for not realizing the commerce clause makes her bill unconstitutional.

Yeah, I know, but I can't help myself, wanting her to succeed, for all of the wrong and stupid reasons that she has.

That about as stupid as the lady calling into the radio station asking why they put up deer crossing signs in busy neighborhoods streets. Should make the deer cross in less busy areas.

That's not what the bill is about
Some of you need to stop melting so much

quote:

The SHIP Act would ban cargo idling or anchoring 24 nautical miles off the Orange County coast. This ban would take effect immediately for up to 180 days, or until the President declares the backlog in the ports is over.

There has never been a problem that democrat legislation made better.
Its a point of pride with them.
Asking a democrat to fix a problem is like asking a hog to tidy up a pigsty.

I woke up thinking about this whole thing this morning, and this woman may not be as stupid as this makes her seem.

Maybe she is calling out the absurdity of the chynese ships idling their engines just off shore while American trucks waiting in line to pick up the chynese made crap, aren't allowed to idle their engines to keep their A/C going.

If it's all about clean air, go all in.
