God, we truly had two horrible candidates last November. Trump at least had a solid campaign strategy he stuck to. He was by far the more skilled campaigner.

Kelly isnt just an enabler of Trump. He's a believer in him. That makes him as odious as the rest. Dont be distracted by the uniform.

And too think.. if they would have gotten their way and HRC were crowned President, Brian Fallon would be a high cabinet member. The democrats, most especially Obama and HRC; are literally potty-mouth trash with a huge sense of entitlement and warped progressive marxism views.

The black family is broken...
You might want to rethink your points I understand what you're saying mankind has always sinned and there's nothing new Under the Sun but we're definitely going down a progressive negative Direction in this country

You again, showed humor in this thread.
Is there any hope in you seeing that your political party is real trashy to respond to General Kelly with more smear tactics and downright in the gutter trash talk? And that Fredrica being a rock star now is why your party lost all around? I can admit to you that my old political party, the GOPe-- is nearly as bad. As well as, Trump being far from perfect (SEE my sig quote) but at least he is not an establishment politician and at least he fights back...

Trump asked Kelly.
Kelly suggested not to call for the reason being that it's a difficult call to make. Not because it would be seen as insensitive, rude, etc.

Meh. He is glossing over details from when he was younger like a lot of people. The abuse of women goes back well before Harvey Weinstein. I never took issue with what trump said. I took issue for him not ignoring the Congress cowgirl and taking the higher road. Act like the god damn president instead of responding to every single perceived slight. Particularly when talking about fallen members of the military. Just once I’d like to see trump not shoot himself in the foot

Unusually not rabid. I like it.
I agree. He should have sent out a surrogate assassin to deal with Cowpie Wilson. He doesn't need to be the attacker every time.
Don't get me wrong, she deserved attacked. He just didn't need to be the one doing it this time.
Hopefully, he'll change tactics a bit but I know that's going to be tough.

I agree with you on this one only because the basis of the issue is a fallen soldier.
I think Trump's strategy is to make this crazy congresswoman the face of his opposition. It is an effective strategy, but this is not the proper situaion to use it. IMO.

It’s pretty frustrating. I didn’t want him to be the president but damn I keep hoping he will lead and govern. I will Kelly would grab his phone and smash it

The problem is that Trump doesn't have the media on his side. So the empty barrel representative is going to be portrayed in a positive light. That's the challenge here.
He ignores her, MSM runs with the story and the daily Trump bashing continues. At some point, he's got to say enough. He just says enough more often.

She certainly deserved as much ridicule as the right can pile on her. But trump has people who can do that. He needs to stop taking everything personal. It’s why he can’t get his agenda moving. He spends too much time with this bs

I was fortunate enough to talk to one of the deceased soldier's former teammates today. He said that they would've appreciated the honesty from the President. The conversation was cut short by one of my left-wing coworkers who happened to be offended that the special forces guy's opinion seemed to be given more weight than his due to his service in the marine corps as a cook during the 80s. I don't really know what my coworkers MOS was but he looks like a cook. I just see a wasted opportunity to talk to someone with intimate knowledge of the mission who has spent time in that theatre. I'm hoping to get a chance to talk to the special forces guy's again. One other thing he was close friends with the deceased. My shithead coworker was too busy arguing with the guy to acknowledge that he's probably grieving for his friends.

This simply should NOT be happening...
This family paid the ultimate sacrifice for this nation and now they are in the middle of a media storm that will not end, all because of the perceived need to score political points and create a gotcha moment...
No one is prepared to write that letter, make that phone call or make that personal visit... It does not matter how many times you do it, it will be received differently by each family... Some will hate you for the rest of your life because YOU are to blame, at least in their eyes, for the loss of their loved one...
As POTUS, Trump shares that blame... It is on him and I do not care the POTUS, I do not believe any of them have ever taken the loss of a service member's life lightly... Especially, one killed in combat action under your watch... As little as I thought of Obama, I always knew he had the burden of command in this situation...
This country, as a whole, really needs to evaluate where we currently stand, when the death of a service member is utilized as a political football... God help us all...

But here is the deal. I would rather him defend himself over a conversation about a fallen soldier than not. I only think it is right that he defends himself when a person like Wilson took it in the direction she did. Otherwise the media will keep spinning the narrative the way they want it to go. Everybody with a brain knows Trump is pro military so why let the media spin it like he isn't. I guess we would all rather everybody think he is a dolt like "W" and never defended himself. This president isn't going to let anyone walk all over him.

I could not agree with you more maj. We should not be playing politics with our fallen soldiers. Ever.
