"Gender Inclusive" signs

I do contract work (construction) at a few universities. I was on a campus earlier and noticed the maintenance people have recently replaced bathroom signs that previously were just the old ADA unisex signs. Now they all say "gender inclusive". And they are doing it all over the university. How and why did "unisex" not already serve the same function as "gender inclusive".

It's about changing everyone's mindset to the government-approved verbage. They don't want there to be any individual or varying thought. NPCs will eat this up.

I think "gender" and "sex" used to be synonymous. but now they argue "gender" is a wide spectrum. starting and ending with the 2 sexes.
it's just some loophole that the entire world agreed to go along with so that everyone can easily rationalize all manners of sexual immorality.
TLDR:THE WORLD IS AN EVIL, DUMB PLACE.

All over a completely pointless exercise. As stated the "unisex" already signals that restrooms is available for anyone to use and it is single use. Replacing with "gender inclusive" on surface appears completely redundant, but the reason is they get to insert two leftist buzzwords, being "gender" and "inclusive". Words they can use to train the young mush heads with.
I was assuming each one of these new signs probably costs $50 a piece, and there could be a few 100 or so bathrooms throughout the campus like this, so they might have spent $10,000 or more on the signs, plus someone's time to replace them. All just to push cultural Marxism harder.
