military isn't a viable option either.
Of course it is. The GI Bill is quite a viable option, as are alternatives like AmeriCorps, and a litany of others.

The fact is, in many instances grabbing a student loan just came to be the accepted way to do things. The resultant psychology is interesting in that the loan principal is often so hopelessly large that borrowing more becomes an "Oh, what the hell does it matter anyway" premise. Not dissimilar to Congress and the National Debt. However, despite the inability to fully conceptualize consequence, there is consequence nonetheless.

I'm empathetic. The student loan target audience of 17-22 y/o's is impressionable, inexperienced and in many ways, naive. They're told "You HAVE to go to college. Otherwise you're a loser." They're told "Everyone gets loans, don't worry about it. Just do it." So off they go. They get their loan. They choose a cool campus, with neat architecture and enroll to pursue a degree often not worth the paper it's printed on at an accumulated cost of $75K/yr over 4-5yrs. In those instances, it's obviously a poor financial decision.

In the end, it's still their decision though. It is a decision arrived at with readily available information. The analysis is not complicated. Costs will be $$XX. Anticipated salary on graduation will be $$YY. Loan repayment will run $$ZZ over however many years. Is it worth that? What are the alternatives?

But once the decision is made, the person making the decision owns it. If it doesn't pan out, don't blame someone else. Learn from mistakes, push forward, and find a way to make it work.

Good grief, these poor folk are without Spiritual vision, and are looking at the Worldly version of Reality. And doing so from “the glass is half empty “ pov. “Where there is no vision, my people die”.

Humanity is on the cusp of one of the greatest Epocs in known recorded history, both Spiritual and Worldly. AI and Quantum Computers and the massive power of the Knowledge therein has the potential to transform and elevate humanity to a virtual “kingdom of heaven on Earth “, but that will require VISION and hard work. (Musk used these very words and he sees it.) Both of the which are THE most challenging and fulfilling opportunities in the human realm of experience.

Z should adjust their vision and focus on the worthy challenge of finessing the coming meltdown of our old economic and cultural models into the new one that must and will change from the soon to be suicidal model of competition (think war) for relative economic affluence (Capitalism v Marxism) and Cultural/Religious dominance and adopt that challenge and their being in their prime at probably THE most meaningful and pivotal time in human history. Hell, Z will likely live to be hundreds of years old as Biblical prophecy indicates.

What one believes absolutely determines how one feels, and feeling is absolutely the essence of life. DJT has lived a particular life doing what he has for the single purpose of serving how he FEELS, in relation to how he is VIEWED by his fellow beings. All one needs to do is drop the requirement for the approval and worship of muh ‘upvotes’ from one’s fellow beings and go DIRECTLY to controlling one’s Feeling. I.e., character. That IS Spiritually.

And though the ultimate Feeling value is subjective, and.based in one’s Belief, who will deny that the perceptive lens of LOVE will color ALL possible enterprise and interaction with one’s brethren (or competitors if one rejects Love) and perceived reality as a wonderful experience. Heaven, in effect.

The youth needs to buck up and focus on the Spirit and they will be renewed and transformed into the leaders who are blessed to take Humanity the next level. The “Second Coming “ is here, and the promised return of the Truth will do its appointed work. With or without people who don’t see it.

Won’t be cake, nor should any worthy challenge be such. Lord come quickly and have mercy on them who love.

Not everyone can get into the military, for a host of different reasons.

I came up in the generation of having Carter being the president, double digit inflation, oil embargo and 20% prime lending. Do you think I dreamed of owning a house and 2 cars? Every young person thinks they have it so bad. Like my dad told me, suck it up, buttercup. Be a man and everything will be okay. This is, STILL, the land of opportunity. Sorry if things won’t be handed to you on a silver platter. You’ll have to work to earn a living…just like every other man before you. This generation will be just fine if they remember they have balls and already won the lottery by being a citizen of the greatest country. That is not hyperbole.

Hey boomer,

Lots of people work hard. Every generation likes to think the younger generations aren’t as great as theirs was.

IDGAF what you dreamed. Any boomer who thinks the US is the same place as it was in 50 years ago is a complete retard.
