If anything his approval should go up after these last two weeks - he has hit homerun after homerun.

I still can’t believe the Democrats went with Kamala. I guess they backed themselves into a corner. She was an awful candidate.

I don't buy that, I think Gen X parents have had it with their kids, too. Gen X was working and their kids were being raised at public schools were pure evil had taken over in many ways, us Gen X kids had decent teachers that for the most part did not push all the woke and gay crap kids have been pushed for 20 years... I believe one of the great things about Covid was parents did not believe schools were this bad but now they know.... You have to remember Gen X kids still had a mom at home not working but raising kids, now days almost every parent has two work...

currently the only cohort where Trump holds a net positive approval rating.

From the same page .... Trump's up 15pts among the 64 and older crowd.

Donald Trump's Approval Rating Jumps Among Baby Boomers — Here's What's Driving It

President Donald Trump‘s approval rating among Baby Boomers has seen a significant surge, potentially solidifying his political base as we approach the 2026 midterm elections.

What Happened: The latest Quantus Insights poll shows a significant shift in Trump’s approval rating among baby boomers. Last month, the approval and disapproval ratings were evenly split at 49 percent.

However, this month’s poll reveals a 15-point swing in Trump’s favor, with 56 percent approval and 41 percent disapproval.

Despite declining approval ratings among younger Americans and other key demographics, this turnaround emphasizes Trump’s enduring appeal among older conservatives. Baby boomers, who were instrumental in Trump’s 2024 victory, continue to be a vital part of his political base.

Gen X grew up during the Cold War when there were two genders, fairly defined gender roles, no cell phones or internet, payphones and shopping malls and bullying was allowed.

I wore a key around my neck by the age of 6 to get into the house after school.

Both my parents worked their asses off for the things we had.

A work ethic instilled in us that is lacking in todays kids.

internet, we couldn't imagine the harm it does.

"It" doesn't do shite. Parents have to buy computers, iPads and phones. Parents choose to buy them, and feign ignorance as to why their 12 year old is drop shipping counterfeit goods and the 13 year old is sending her bewbs on Snapchat.

Better still, fry that bologna in bacon grease then put it on toasted bread...made my first one when I was 6, my 10 year old brother watching. My 5 year old sister made hers next. Then we made fries. A wonder we didn't burn the place down.

Parents were at work when we got home. So yep, we were watched by my brother...good times.
