Agreed.
I also believe in prevention. While it is impossible to screen out every deviant, great strides could be made by banning certain people from buying children.
You said in another post it is cruel to ban homosexual couples/throuples whatevs from foster/adoption… I say it is cruel to NOT to do so.
The system isn’t perfect. It won’t be made perfect by being “inclusive” to self identified deviants for the sake of not “being cruel”.
Again- nature already figured this out.
I have zero issue with people having proclivities- until it involves children.

Again there are success story after success story of gay couples adopting just like there are tons of foster kids failing in life. Seeing that you would prefer kids never be loved and kicked out on their own at age 18 is just so your beliefs are upheld is pretty cold hearted.

Just stop with that bullshite term. I was in 4 foster homes before being adopted. So did my straight couple parents " buy me". That's actually extremely insulting. I was raised in a Christian household with a Angel for a mom and my dad was mean and got drunk and telling me my own family didn't want me and he should have never adopted me but thank God I was adopted but heterosexual right....

Seeing as how I was in foster care and was adopted I wouldn't call it " irrationally invested" as it's more like I have life experience on the subject when all you have is just your opinion.
