There are lots of conservatives in California. Especially in Orange County
and other similar concentrations. Even L.A.
County has a healthy conservative population. Overall, except for the cost of real estate, California is a great place to live. Great climate and natural beauty, lots of outdoor things to do.

Newsom have a lot of skeletons in his closet that won't look good for his presidential aspiration. Like this video below on him back when he was mayor of San Francisco. It shows him walking away from a reporter when asked about his drinking problem and publicly apologize for sleeping with his campaign manager's wife.
