So if I write a murder novel and somebody gets killed in exactly the same way as in my novel and I'm a suspect, it can't be used. Am I right?

Only if you’re black. Essentially.

I am so confused. Why did they single out rap music?

So this would indicate that rap music is different in some way to warrant a special law for it vs say pop music or bluegrass music.

Does anyone know?

Well.. Apparently you haven't sang or danced to a song about shooting "N*****s" in the head like these children... Good Times...

But I will admit that sometimes when I drink Jim Beam and listen to Hank Jr. I get kinda roughty though...

Rappers snitch on themselves in their lyrics.

Look up The Race by Tay K, he talks about all the shite he did and running from the foods in the track.

Dude is doing 55 years now.

Look up Chicago Drill music and you will hear lyrics about the gang wars in Chicago.

I’m not defending the legislation, just pointing out why the legislation specifics rap music.
