Which is clown world shite And all the people saying they want the whole system to collapse are also clowns I imagine a lot of people, not just Americans, are glad they didn't think that in the late 1700s.

No, you’re thinking of the French Revolution when they overthrew the government without a plan which led to the Terror and eventually the dictator, Napoleon.

Admittedly, I was a huge fan of Graves up until the last couple of years. He has a history of hard work and has been really good dealing with the ecological issues that actually threaten the coast. That said, he swims with the GOP majority.

I don't often agree with you, but I think you might be right. But I still think it is a good idea to oust scum that don't honor their promises.

As you say it might not be good a real win, but when you are outnumbered you can only stand on principles and show your own true colors and do your best to hold people accountable.

This. I hope the fallout is carried over to elections and some of these GOPe incumbents get sent packing.

Maybe you'll get your wish and the Democrats will get control of the House in 2024. Because there are more than enough vulnerable GOP reps in purple districts in blue states to make that happen. Democrats will run on the platform of the GOP in the House being a cluster frick.

Gaetz is getting the attention he craves and the dems only get stronger. Bizarre that other republicans would celebrate this clownery. It’s a weird era.

I’m feeling the same way. The downvote ratio is high, but I think they might be from people who don’t understand the situation as it stands now. I think Gaetz was played for a fool. We could be 100% fricked. We could now end up with a freaking dem as speaker again. The repubicans can’t stick together and make a smart or strong stand on ANYTHING.

The biggest clowns are the ones who don't understand that the system is nearing the end of a 20 year collapse. The only question is what it will look like on the other side and who will be in charge of picking up the pieces.
