I see the problem now. I don't follow MSM anymore. I don't watch cable network news. I don't even HAVE cable TV. I don't read the newspapers or any news 'magazines', if they're still a thing these days.
I listen to a lot of radio. I peek at twitter, from time to time.
So if you're saying the networks are shoving the Gabby - Brian case down our throats, then I guess I get it. I ignored the Jon Bonet Ramsey stuff too, so I guess I've ignored the hoopla for a long time now.

I like mystery criminal type shows. While I am more intrigued by this than you. I see your point. There are many sad stories of missing people. Why is the media obsessed over this? I didn't even know of them as bloggers.
I also cut out TV media. But this story has been updated online all along.

They updated the story again. I guess Brian's family/his parent all notified the police they would go search a particular spot for Brian. And lo and behold his belongings and human remains are found.

If you are so unintelligent as to let that story "distract" you from, well, anything at all.... then
at you. This story has been meaningless from the beginning. If you are allowing it to consume any portion of the media you interact with, you need better news sources.

The caveat here for me is that these 2 had a YouTube channel. And I will confess, much of my t.v. entertainment involves following channels on YouTube. Individual content creators, like these 2, though I had never heard of them before Gabby went missing. So I guess from that stand point, I get the attention its getting , at least from the aspect of the YouTube community.
