funny story dealing with the wall

MY wife teaches 3rd grade and yesterday she showed her students a video on the great wall of china. She has one Latino student in the class and when ever they hear a foreign language etc, her students believe that the Latino student knows the language. Well yesterday during the video of course there were Chinese words etc and one of her AA students asked the Latino student what they were saying. Obviously she didnt know and the student just shrugged her shoulders. The AA student didnt stop there, he asked the Latino student, "do they have a wall for mexicans?" At this point my wife is trying not the laugh because we are both republicans, But she is also trying to redirect and let the class know that the Latino student is not a Mexican because she was born here and is an American citizen like everyone else. A white student speaks up and says "President Trump is building the wall!" and the AA student says "maybe we can go on a field trip to see it when its finished!"

My wife just responded while laughing, "when its built, we will go see it"
