It’s amazing how many people right here in this thread prefer to live in a police state where one is to obey the government authority 100 percent of the time

You stop when the police tell you to stop, if they are in the wrong there's ways to elevate it afterwards. Running from them is only going to get you a second forehead and a crooked nose though, deservedly.

Wrong

They are not our overseers. They need cause to stop you. Not BS.

They've been allowed to erode our rights because of bullshite thinking like this.

Accidents happen. That said, if they thought she had a gun and was acting crazy? Need to know more. How far away was she from the officers...was she moving towards them..was she shot? Again...accidents happen. There are much worse examples than this. (they didn't know the kid was there.)

Accidents happen...if that's what the police told me after killing my son, it would take every ounce of self-control I have to not kill them on the spot.

The crazy woman was shot and killed. I don't know the logistical details.

How do I prevent police officers from firing bullets into my home, killing my family? Do I need to put up a sign that says there are children in the building? At what point does the government take responsibility for killing innocent people on my private property?

This is Statist nonsense. We are not subjects of the police. The police serve us, at least that's what they're supposed to do.

I don't do illegal shite, so I could care less if they take legal, or less than legal methods to check and see if I am doing illegal shite.

Because yet again, I don't do illegal shite.

You're right the police do serve me.

The served me by getting this little piece of shite off the street. A 17 year old walking around in alleys at night with a gun, that's what this debate is all hinging off of?

Every one of you stupid free earth no law mother frickers that get's arrested for ur crack or whatever other dumb illegal shite you do, is serving me.

Every little gang banger taken by whatever means they deem fit, serves me.

That's because I obey the laws, and these guys make me safer through their actions. I am VERY served.

You're one stupid frick. You'll cry the loudest one day when they take your cash and protect serve the hell out of you.

It doesn't matter if you follow the law. The police can detain you for laws that don't even exist, thanks to the Supreme Court.

LINK

Each day, the Rule of Law is eroded and people like you "could care less". If we don't live under the Rule of Law, then we live under the Rule of Men. We fought a revolution over that.

That's an incredibly odd assumption to make. I look forward to the day where I am able to choose to drive around with large sums of cash though, as my bank account is maxed out, because why the frick else would I be driving around with large sums of cash?

Kill yourself and save the police the time please. TIA

Maybe he didn't want to get the frick beat out of him.

Maybe Troy PD has a history of this.

If this were some lilly white frat boy at Troy University this thread would be different.

Your response is overly emotional and based on 1 example...the fear irrational, and the last sentence based on a strawman.

Accidents happen..some tragic. This is one of them.

This seems to be more along the lines of elitist nonsense than your claim of statist nonsense.

Think it thru again.

There are some biased motherfrickers ITT.

I will drive false narratives with the best. But this is BS.

I'm many things, but biased is not one of them.

You own a business that takes in a lot of cash, maybe you just sold a vehicle for cash, and you have not made it to the bank to make a deposit. Any of a thousand totally legitimate possibilities that cause people to carry large sums of cash everyday.

Plausible, but unrealistic. Any sum large enough to warrant questions wouldn't be a cash transaction.

If someone wants to pay me 8 grand for a car of mine, in cash, that's a red flag.
