From a Historical Perspective, is Dunkirk “White-Washed”?

I’ve been researching the historical events of Operation Dynamo after watching Dunkirk for the first time last week. There seems to be a growing movement on the internet that Christopher Nolan ‘Whitewashed’ Dunkirk by removing any reference to ‘people of color’.
I do notice plenty of women, and given the fact the movie takes place entirely on the front lines, I think they do a good job of showing as many as they did.
Do you think the movie was whitewashed? I can find no direct examples of people of color involved in Operation Dynamo, at least in the roles that were portrayed in the film, but I do understand that the Allies all had blacks serving in their Armies in some capacity during this time.
Is Dunkirk whitewashed?

From a historical and fact-based perspective, no. From a modern, liberal perspective it is.

This.
Even though there was probably less than 100 blacks at Dunkirk, out of the hundreds of thousands, modern liberals will scream that you didn't write them into the script somehow, and would be angry that you didn't make one a hero. They are truly an insane people.

No, it’s not. The BEF was overwhelmingly white British men.
Dukirks flaw was that it completely abandoned the scale of the operation to focus on 7 guys and 2 pilots.
Get the race baiting out of here.

"White-washed", sounds racist against Whitey to me.

No?
It was 99.9999999999999999999999999999999999999999% white people on that beach.

Racists! Why didn't they allow the minorities to fight?

All historical events are white-washed now to them.
SJW's are idiots without history degrees and probably think some of the Founding Fathers were black but that has been white-washed from history.
In contrast to white-washing, we see the opposite - Like that new Mary Magdelene.

I mean, the British Empire had Indians, Pakistanis, etc fighting in their armies; they were just mostly concentrated fighting the Japanese. WWI on the other hand, the British did have a lot of their Imperial citizens in Europe, but white people were still 99.99999999999% of the fighting force (Britain, Australia, NZ, Canada, South African Afrikaners/Boers, etc)

This is the equivalent of white people bitching that they have been underrepresented as slaves in Civil War era movies.

Well didn't the movie show some French troops in the movie and some of them were black?
We know the French had a sizeable African contingent from their colonies in France.

Yeah, there were a few on the dock in the movie. Considering the white to non-white ratio of the battle, they were probably proportionately represented, possibly over-represented.

Kind of related:
I listened to an episode of the Revisionist History podcast to see if I’d like it. The first episode examined the life of Elizabeth Thompson, who was almost the 1st woman elected to the British art academy in the 1870s. She fell a few votes short and never got in, and in her memoirs wrote that was “for the best”, or words to that effect.
The podcast host’s comment about her memoir quote was that she’d “given up”. So he put on a 21st century lens to look at words written by a 19th century woman and decided the struggling feminist in her was frustrated. The host of Revisionist History actually revised history in his first episode.

The 4th Indian division was pretty prominent in North Africa.
There were lots of non-whites in World War II. The whole Russian army, and 90% of the fighting in the pacific theater was non-white. However, the western front in the European theater was almost 100% white.

Two new-ish things (last 10 years +/-) in movies that really annoy me:
1. Placing blacks in historical movies in rolls that would not have existed during that time either because there were no blacks or due to the culture of the time they wouldn't have been able to be in that roll.
2. Having 115 lb model looking women beating the shite out of grown 6' plus, 220 lb plus men (basically NFL linebackers).

Like that recent Charlize Theron movie.
It was a novelty back in the 80's and even then a woman had to use her wits and a weapon.
Then this past decade Hollywood went all Kumite and Mixed Martial Arts where a women's punch is as strong as a Pro Boxer.
