No, I am old school country faith. I was raised by the survivors of some of the toughest years in US history (time between WWI and WWII). I see a lot of "angry" God in the Old Testament and see a lot of "loving" Son of God in the New Testament. I just get mighty irritated by "Christians" and followers of Jesus Christ not following his actual teachings by their actions and words.

We are humans and filled with flaws, so I do not expect us to not constantly struggle with that which is right and that which is easy. I more sinner than saint but the older I get (and closer to the end) the more I am stopping the sinning.


The problem is we make things more complex, when in fact they are shockingly simple for those of real faith. Jesus dropped the "complexity" of the 10 Commandments for just 2. Pretty simple concepts a 3rd grader can easily understand yet we "smokescreen" complexity and diversions instead of the simplicity of true faith.
