Even if they were, Republicans have been in charge of our state and border for a very long time.
I'm beginning to think you may be correct about your state's education troubles.
You do know the border is under federal control don't you? And also that the Biden admin sued Texas to remove the floating buoy border, razor wire from the border, and sued Texas again over state law that would have made unauthorized border entry a state crime and allowed local judges to order deportations.
Why? The federal government under Biden asserted that immigration regulation belongs exclusively to the federal level.
Also, the State of Texas sued to block President Barack Obama’s plan to give millions of illegal immigrants a temporary reprieve from deportation.
Where are you getting your propaganda from?

You’re confusing control of Texas with control of federal immigration policy. Who was running the federal government during Biden’s four years? Hint: it wasn’t Greg Abbott.
Yes, Texas deployed the National Guard. Having troops patrol the border doesn’t give the governor control over federal immigration enforcement.
“Texas took action at the border” and “Republicans controlled the border” are two different claims. Your follow-up establishes the first while dodging the second.
And that’s just one example of you confusing who holds responsibility with who you want to blame. Dig deeper than copy and paste talking points from Reddit.

You are a 100% correct but we are handing them out to the rich in the form of vouchers.
Absolutely false. They are handing them out to special needs children first, then those in need under a certain income level, then to the middle class. Once you make a certain amount you don't even qualify. If your wife was a teacher she would know this. Lying sack of shite.

Deport the illegals and there wouldn't be this problem.
This has created a good kind of problem in some Texas school districts.....the number of Spanish speaking only students in some Texas school districts has diminished to virtually none. The teachers that were receiving additional pay for dual language ability are no longer receiving the extra pay and allowing the districts to apply that money elsewhere.
