I already said in the Groyper thread earlier that I would be wrong on that one way or the other. I didn't anticipate a pivot to the Groyper angle and that was why the analysis failed. They're doing the same thing people did labeling the guy who shot the MN state senator a leftist. I have a blind spot (relying to much on rationality) sometimes from seeing utter dishonesty and irrationality.

I'm pretty sure the context of that was about the intentional confusion the shooter created with his mixed messaging, and why it was not rational to selectively pick one partisan angle over the other. The point was if you did what posters were doing, but in the reverse, it could be argued he was right wing.
