The only reason I can see that Lindsay has been waiting this long it to build up the crescendo about 6 weeks prior to the election.

Will anyone ask Roddy about the 25th amendment removal of Trump? If they do he will most likely say, 'at the time we didn't know if Trump was a Russian agent and he fired Comey?'
The script of this has already been written. The fact that Roddy is going tells me Durham won't be arresting anyone or else Graham wouldn't need to put on this

-He has to justify holding them accountable so Trump lays off about the FISA court.
ETA: typo I put Burr I meant Barr; but I am sure Graham has met with both on covering Burr, Wolfe, Warner' and McCain's role in the dossier. AND LEAKING TO THE MEDIA.
