Fox News stipulated its multi-million dollar settlement with the family of murdered Democratic National Committee staffer Seth Rich remain undisclosed to the public until the November 3 election had passed, The New York Times reported Sunday.

The Sunday report came from Ben Smith, The New York Times' media columnist.

As The New York Times reported, the October 2020 settlement came not long before Fox News personalities Sean Hannity and Lou Dobbs were set to testify under oath in the case. Rich's family agreed to the terms of the settlement, according to the report, including that it not be made public until after the election.

On Monday, a Fox News spokesperson declined to answer any of Insider's questions regarding The New York Times' reporting. The cable news network and its lawyer similarly declined to comment to The New York Times for its report.

First parents since JonBenét Ramsey who didn't want their child's murder investigated.

I get that the parents want privacy, but it really is frustrating that we can’t get ANY info on the Seth rich murder.

If my son was murdered, I would want 100% investigation into who did it, even if it was simply a ghetto thug or something.

How, in the hell, could that "cause of action" be worth more than $50?

K, I am with you here... So, you are saying there are others in the MSM that could be held accountable for some of their lies?

This was a civil suit filed by the parents against Fox. Fox appears to be the one that got cucked when called to the carpet for their lies.

What does Seth's murder and it's reporting have to do with November 3rd?

No one said they didn’t want an investigation, but they sure as hell didn’t need fox spreading misinformation.

Do you have the settlement agreement? I don't think your want to insult fox is going to offend anyone here, despite your best efforts. Just not sure what you think this article proves/disproves.

It's weird that only a couple of articles on this are spouting this "multi-million dollar" number (with none specifying further on the amount or any on how they got that information) with most of the articles on this saying the settlement amount was "not disclosed," which is quite typical in these settings.

I'm curious as to the source of that figure.

Tell that to the families of the Benghazi victims.

I'm asking you again, since your need to want to spike the football in a game of badminton is rather odd, what is it, you think this article is saying?

Or do you think this is some sort of win, after you got beat down rather thoroughly when it came out that many members of ANTIFA were arrested because of the Capital break in. I remember you being called out A LOT, and you never returned to those threads. Is this thread some sort of weird retribution that only You think you finally "got him".

That when the rubber hits the road, the Seth Rich nonsense doesn't stand up to scrutiny.
