Fox News is owned by the Murdoch’s. Fox 20th Century is owned by Disney. To separate companies. Most local affiliates are run by the Disney side. While Fox News, Fox Business, etc are owned by the Murdoch’s.

Agree with her stance, of course. Every media outlet in at least the US behaves the same way, from Fox to CNN, MSNBC to OAN, and even Project Veritas. It's universal to balance appealing to your audience with appeasing your funding, and throwing in journalistic integrity when possible.

What we all knew but now evidence. Censorship forming a narrative and specifically if President Trump said something they went out of their way to censor to show deceptively Trump was wrong-when he wasn't.
The vast majority of people watching local news couldn't care less about bitcoin news.

Not exactly. It's one thing to believe someone is deceiving you but it's another to have it proven in such a public fashion.
News stations are all about presentation, specifically the presentation that they are trustworthy (regardless of if they are or not). Without hard proof they can always wave off claims of bias as "some wacky conspiracy theory," but with hard evidence... broadcasting it in such a public manner is the most embarrassing and damaging thing you can do to them.
While you think it "hardly seems worth being fired for," you'll notice her employers did it with the quickness. It wouldn't shock me to see a follow-up eventually about the station trying to press some sort of charges against her in an attempt to save face and serve as a warning to other potential vigilantes.
